membership application form
The Triumph Car Club (ACT) Inc. was established in July 1992 as a means by which owners/drivers of cars that bear the Triumph name, can form a fraternity, based on their common interests in the preservation and maintenance of Triumph vehicles as part of Australia's heritage vehicle movement.
Membership of the Club is open to all persons having an interest in Triumph vehicles regardless of the vehicle model and/or year of manufacture. We also welcome members who live outside the ACT region. Within the Club, members currently operate sedans, TR's, Dolomites, Sprints, GT6's, Spitfires, Heralds, Stags and the Mayflower.
The objectives of the Club are:
a. to promote and maintain the Triumph marque, including the restoration and preservation of Triumph vehicles;
b. to conduct social and other activities for all members;
c. to promote better technical understanding and assistance in the maintenance of vehicles; and
d. to promote better driving and a positive attitude towards driving.
As the manufacture of Triumph vehicles has long ceased and the difficulty in obtaining parts grows each year, there are benefits in belonging to a Club where the collective information of members is most valuable. Benefits can include sharing of knowledge of repairs, technical assistance, source of replacement parts and personal assistance with restorations.
Personal involvement in Club activities is an important part of becoming a member. Every member of the Triumph Club of the ACT Inc, is encouraged to attend a number of meetings and Club activities/runs each year. This social interaction forms a bond within the heritage movement at large and in helping preserve the Triumph name.
Membership fees are $30 per annum plus an initial $10 joining fee. Fees become due and payable on 1 July each year. Each member receives a discount identity card, windscreen sticker and name tag. Pro rata fees are offered at $2.50 per month from the date of application. Payment can be made directly to the Treasurer or by cheque made payable to the Triumph Car Club ACT; see the membership form for details.
